As you all are aware, we lost a brother Friday in a tragic, senseless murder. Officer Jeffrey McCoy will be missed by all who knew him and our lodge will never be the same. Please remember his family in your prayers. God bless you and your family Jeff.

Trying different things helps us see what works best for our site and our membership. Our goal is for the website to be interactive and informational. Ever wonder what we get for having an internet presence? One of our most valuable tools is our ability to recruit new members through the use of an online application form. It’s simple and easy to use. So when someone asks how to join, just say, “Go to www.okfop147.com, click on the Membership Application tab, complete the form and hit submit!” Here’s something to think about: Since we launched our new site in August, 2011 we have recruited two new members through the use of our online application. Our website recruits for us 24/7 and rarely complains. Sounds like a good deal to me!
